About Mia Art and Me

Mia Art is a design and illustration company created in 2011. Based in St. Albans.

 

My name is Jill and I have two pugs, Cyril and Olive (Check out my illustration page where you can see them both doing yoga poses).

 

I LOVE designing...I’m ambitious, driven and confident in my ability to work with clients and achieve their overall campaign objectives.

I enjoy taking client ideas and interpreting them visually.

 

I am comfortable working to strict deadlines across a range of projects at any one time. With over 25 years of experience, I definitely have

my style!

 

Over the years I have built strong relationships with companies, both internally and externally. I have been lucky enough to work with a variety of companies/clients, each with its own distinct needs and challenges. I love meeting new people and working on varied projects, always getting a buzz for anything sent my way.

 

Having worked mainly for my own company Mia Art, I am confident working independently and also enjoy working as part of a team to deliver successful projects. 

 

Many of my clients become great friends and I am so lucky when they take me with them to other companies. It is important to feel valued and trusted. With the years of experience I have it's given me the freedom to create what I think is best for the brief and the company.

I also work with an amazing Typographer Sara Chapman from the letterg. I have always been a huge fan of Sara's work, everything she creates always inspires me, there are not many designers like Sara... when you see real design talent it is so exciting and refreshing.
